Expensive Breeds

I have tried to compile a list of expensive breeds of dogs it has the prices for various dog breeds, based on the internet and my personal interaction with few of the breeders in US. Please note the following prices are for a Puppy with all registered papers.

• Akita - $1,500 - $3,500
• Australian Shepherd - $900-$2,000
• English Bulldog - $2,500 - $5,500
• Norfolk Terrier - $2,000-$3,000
• Cavalier King Charles Spaniel - $800-$3,500
• Norfolk Terrier - $2,000-$3,000
• Yorkshire Terrier - $800 - $3,000
• Golden Retriever - $300 - $3,500
• Pomeranian - $500-$2,100
• Shih Tzu - $350-$1,600

Apart from this you may be surprized to find that some of the mixed breed pups are very expensive - this is due to the certain advantages they enjoy ove pure breeds. For example a breed crossed with poodle to obtain a non-sheading breed can command a high price for this non-sheading character.
