Naming

Naming your pet is very important. Here are few guidelines -

• Try to use a name with more than one syllable. It is easier for a dog to hear a longer name than a shorter one. Robert is easier to hear than jack.
• Check that your dog's name does not sound like another word that your dog might confuse.
• Do not use/ call your pet by name when you are angry with him as this will make your pet dislike his name and he may not respond to the name.
• You can name your pet using adjectives like – Lucky, Happy etc.
