There are many types of dog collars available around today you should be able to find one that perfectly suits you and your pet.
Here are some tips -
- Check that the collar fits properly .i.e. you can fit only two fingers between it and the dog.
- Consider the type of breed of your dog is and the colour of the fur.A pink collar that would work for a toy pom would probably look silly on GSD.
- Check the durability of the collar as decorative or glued-on items may have a tendency to fall off.
- Go in for the right length for your dog. A very long leash will get tangled in a small dog's legs.
- If your dog loves to go in water a lot, consider a nylon collar. Anything else will not hold up as well to the constant moisture.
